Abakos-Systeme applies the German small-business VAT rule where Abakos-Systeme itself issues an invoice. Sales to consumers are processed through Paddle.com Market Limited or Paddle.com Inc. as reseller (merchant of record). That entity is the seller for transactional purposes, handles the destination country's VAT or sales tax on its own responsibility and states it on the payment document.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are not willing or obliged to participate voluntarily in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. The former European online dispute-resolution platform has been discontinued.
